We are looking forward to going home for Christmas break, but before we go we had a little more island fun. The end of the semester break gets pretty crazy for the students so a group of the wives and kiddos did a fun little hike to the Indian River. They taped parts of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" on this river. The roots of the trees were remarkable how the wound this way and that through the mud and water. It was a great little walk and all the kids enjoyed it.
We also had to get one more trip to the beach in before we left for the Idaho cold weather. The boys had so much fun, there were actually waves this time at PBH beach. I guess they get more waves during the winter months. They get so strong that they tear apart the pier every year.
